Boarding Options 

For over 60 years, Netherwood Acres has offered the equestrian community of the lower Hudson Valley and weekenders alike, premier horseback riding instruction on some of the finest horses in Dutchess County. Our unique  facility offers convenient access to a full compliment of horseback riding activities. Every detail for horse and rider has been well thought out, so that all parts of the farm efficiently flow together.

  • 100 x 200 outdoor arena with rubber footing overlooking our lake

  • Over 100 square miles of wooded riding trails

  • Twenty 12 x 12 box stalls available for boarders

  • Indoor wash stall

  • 24-hour property supervision

Full Board

In addition to 24-hour property supervision and use of ALL Netherwood facilities, including indoor arena, outdoor ring, cross country course, dressage ring and trails; price includes daily stall cleaning, hay, grain, shavings, tack cleaning, grooming, turnout and handling horse for vet/farrier.

Training Board

In addition to all aspects of full horse board, price also includes professional horse training by our trainers 4-5* days per week and mane pulling.
 

Concierge Board

Includes 24-hour property supervision, use of ALL Netherwood facilities, daily stall cleaning, hay, grain, shavings, tack cleaning, grooming, turnout and handling horse for vet/farrier.  Additionally includes grooming and tacking for client before/after rides, mane pulling and trimming, grooming for horse shows and fox hunting, and professional rider at horse trials, competitions and fox hunting. Also includes four days per week training (Mon-Fri), which can consist of  a combination of riding lessons or horse training sessions by our professional trainers. Please note this this does not include medical, farrier fees or competition and clinic fees.

*amount of exercise or training days depends on if boarder rides on both days of the weekend or is away. 

 

Other Services

IF not included above, we offer the following services for an additional fee:

  • coaching fees at horse shows and competitions
